"Today [April 25], in Australia, Serbian Veterans and their descendants march in the annual ANZAC day march to remember the sacrifices of all fallen soldiers who fought with the Allies in the Fist World War. ANZAC Day is a national day of memorial in Australia, commemorating the 25th of April, 1915, when the Australian and New Zealand armed forces fought in the Battle of Gallipoli. Serbs are proud of their ancestors who fought for freedom in World War I, even though the price that the Serbs had to pay for that freedom was terribly high. Recently, the British newspaper "Independent" published an article that described the suffering of the Serbian people during the Austro-Hungarian occupation - http://ind.pn/1iu11rp."*****
"Српски ветерани и њихови потомци данас учествују у традиционалном савезничком маршу "ANZAC Day"у знак сећања на све савезничке војнике који су дали своје животе у Првом светском рату. "ANZAC Day"представља важан датум у аустралијској традицији, јер су 25. априла 1915. године десантом на Галипоље, аустралијске и новозеландске оружане снаге први пут самостално наступиле у Првом светском рату. Срби су поносни на своје претке који су се борили за слободу у Првом светском рату, иако је за ту слободу српски народ платио превелику цену.
