Dear members of the Serbian community and friends of the Serbian American Museum St. Sava:
This is to inform you that the museum Board scheduled a meeting for December 22nd 2016 at 7 p.m., at the Serbian American Museum St. Sava, 448 W Barry Ave, Chicago, IL 60657. We forward their invitation to the Council of Serbian American Organizations and to all individuals who can contribute to solving the problems that have befallen the Serbian American Museum St. Sava. We hope to find a solution that is in the interest of the entire Serbian American community.
For those who have not heard: the application for the demolition permit of the museum building was WITHDRAWN on 11/28 [2016]. Thanks to everyone who helped prepare a powerful landmark nomination. The nomination is supported by Alderman Tunney, the City of Chicago, and landmark preservation nonprofits.

Поштовани чланови српске заједнице и пријатељи Српскоамеричког музеја Св. Сава:
Обавештавамо вас да је Управа музеја сазвала састанак за 22. децембар 2016. године у 19 часова, у просторијама Српскоамеричког музеја (448 W Barry Ave, Chicago, IL 60657). Њихов позив преносимо Савету српскоамеричких организација и свим добронамерним појединцима који могу да допринесу решавању проблема у којима се нашао Српскоамерички музеј Св. Сава. Надамо се да ћемо пронаћи решење које је у интересу целе српскоамеричке заједнице.
За оне који нису још чули: захтев за дозволу за рушење зграде музеја повучен je 28.11. [2016.] Хвала свима који су помогли да се припреми уверљива номинација музеја за спомен обележје. Номинацију подржавају Алдерман Туни, град Чикаго и непрофитне организације за очување обележја.

Dear members,
We like to inform you of events that recently transpired regarding landmark hearing in the City Hall. Mr. Lusk (our real estate and violations attorney) and Dr. Pavlovic suggested that we hold the meeting with SAMS members and concerned members from the Serbian community with the purpose to clarify present situation and possible consequences. Therefore SAMS president Dr. Pavlovic is calling the meeting for December 22, 2016 at 7pm at SAMS location. [448 W. Barry Ave. Chicago, IL 60657]
Since SNO and it's president were actively emailing and organizing meetings, we are asking to please inform all organizations and everyone from their email list of time, place and date for this very important meeting in the best interest of the whole Serbian community.
