Aleksandra's note: On June 8, 1922 in Belgrade, Serbia, Alexander I Karageorgevich, King of the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats, and Slovenes (also known as the First Yugoslavia), married HRH Princess Maria of Romania, the daughter of King Ferdinand of Romania. King Alexander and Queen Maria had three sons, one of which would become the future King - Crown Prince Peter II, and Princes Tomislav and Andrej.
It was a happy day in Belgrade.
