Aleksandra's Note:There are many beautiful areas in Serbia. The landscapes found there can be breathtaking. One such area is home to the monument dedicated to the fallen Serbian heroes of the Ibar, a river 171 miles long (276 km) that flows through Serbia, Kosovo, and eastern Montenegro. The Ibar river begins in Rožaje, eastern Montenegro, passes through Kosovo and flows into Central Serbia, near Kraljevo, into the West Morava river.
This monument, that was carved out of stone, can be seen on the road between Kraljevo (a city in Serbia built beside the Ibar River) and Raska (in south-central Serbia). The soldier faces Kosovo and Metohija.
This beautiful place is a fitting home to such a monument, dedicated to the Serbian heroes that fought for all the right things.
