Aleksandra's Note: So pleased to see that the long road taken in saving the Serbian-American Museum St. Sava on Barry Street in Chicago has finally ended with a victorious outcome! On Thursday, February 1, 2018, the Chicago Landmarks Commission voted to make this unique building a permanent landmark in Chicago, thus saving it from demolition. I spent many hours here in the 1990s and have many fond memories of this special place!
Well done and thank you to all who contributed in the effort to save the Serbian-American Museum St. Sava!
